Obituary of Lori Doig

Our deep sense of loss and sorrow is tempered with joy in the memory of a life well lived. Loretta “Lori” passed away peacefully in Regina, SK on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband Don; brother Vern; sister-in-law Margaret; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Betty Ann Doig. Lori is survived by her sons Miles and Shawn; daughter-in-law Deanna; grandchildren Aiden and Anna; brother Gordon (Mary); and sister Valerie (Brett).

Lori was born August 19, 1942 to Evelyn and Alfred Stahl, and grew up on the farm near Golden Prairie, SK.

Lori and Don were married August 5, 1961 in Medicine Hat, AB, where they had two sons: Miles and Shawn. They later resided in Tisdale, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon and Calgary. Lori moved to Regina in 2010.

Lori and Don enjoyed camping with family and friends and travelling in their retirement years. They spent winters in Arizona playing shuffleboard and enjoying the sun.

A Celebration of Lori’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November, 9, 2024 at 2150 Heseltine Road, Regina, SK. Interment will take place at a later date at the Chamberlain Cemetery.
