Tekie Teklemariam
Tekie Teklemariam was born November 14, 1956 in Asmara, Eritrea and passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He joined the EPLF in 1976. After serving 3 years he went to Sudan in 1979 where he married his wife Zewdi. After that, he moved to Saudi Arabia then to Greece in 1986. He resettled in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1991. He was predeceased by his father Beraki Teklemariam, mothers Teberh Gebremedihin and Amete Abraham; sister Algainesh and brother Belay. Tekie is survived by his wife Zewdi; son Mesel; brothers, Haile, Goitom, Selomon, Mahari, Mussie; sisters, Haimanot, Nigisti. Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 (TODAY) at Christ the King R.C. Parish, 3239 Garnet St., Regina, SK.
