It is with great sadness Barry’s family announces his passing on Sunday, December 4, 2016, in Regina, SK at the age of 63. Barry passed peacefully surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents George and Edythe Tiefenbach; sister Jane; and infant brother Frederick. Leaving to cherish his memory are his loving wife Donna Tiefenbach; children: Shauna and family Brent (Caitlind), Erica, Avery; Jason (Cathy) and family Tyson, Autumn; Tanya (Jason) and family Shayla, Tanner; special sister-in-law Joanne (Mario) Bevan; nephew Matthew; brother in-law Larry Hanes; brothers Wilf (Carole), Wayne (Teresa), Texando (Terry), twin brother Larry (Judy), Morgan (Johanna), Gene (Doran); sisters Carol (Dave) Stulberg, Marina (Terry) Dovell as well as a large extended family and longtime friends. Barry was born on July 14, 1953 in Regina, SK. He married Donna, his teenage sweetheart in 1972. The couple welcomed 3 children into their world and Barry set about raising his family. His children remember him as a kind and driven dad who encouraged them to pursue their goals and dreams. His took great pride in his 7 grandchildren. Barry was an accomplished skilled journeyman in drywall and acoustical mechanics and took great pride in the many projects he had contributed to creating much of the Regina skyline we see today, and was respected by all co-workers. He loved telling stories and was a generous, hilarious and dedicated individual who was passionate about family. Throughout his life he enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, camping with his family and an enthusiastic Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He was an active member of the Serbian Club. Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 550 Sangster Blvd., Regina, SK. A celebration of life will also be held on Friday, December 16th from 4:00 till close at the Serbian Club, 1876 Wallace St, Regina, SK. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barry’s life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan, #1, 345 – 3rd Avenue South, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1M6. Online condolences may be made at www.paragonfuneralservices.com. The family would like to thank Pasqua hospital staff for their efforts and care.
