Obituary of Victor Moffat

Victor Francis Moffat Victor passed away with his family by his side on December 5, 2016 at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Lyris (Cherie) Moffat and their son Colin; brother Maynard; sister Yvonne; and parents Emma and Charles Moffat. Victor is survived by Cara, his loving wife of 30 years; son Gary (Marisol); stepsons Chris (Carmen), Jason (Melanie); grandchildren Colbie, Elijah, Madelynne; great-grandchild Moka; brothers Maurice, Branch, Slinger; sisters Annette and Carmen; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Victor was born in St. Lucia, came to Canada in 1969, becoming a Canadian citizen in 1985. He loved music and enjoyed watching sports, with baseball being his favorite. He loved to cook his favorite foods. Being with family and friends was the best way to spend the day. Always positive and helpful to everyone he met - his favorite saying when asked “How are you” was to respond “If I feel any better I’d cry.” A private family service will be held. The best way to honour Vic’s memory is to do a random act of kindness.
