Arnold Gerald Birch On Thursday, December 1, 2016, Arnold Birch, beloved husband of Joan M. Birch (Houghton) of Regina died at the age of 78 years. He was predeceased by his parents William and Laura Birch, brother Billy and sister Beverly. Arnold is survived by his children Steven (Colette) of Winnipeg and Joanne of Brandon. He was a beloved granddad to Allison and Justin of Winnipeg. Arnold spent 25 years in the Royal Canadian Air Force and 6 years with the Reserve Unit at HMCS Queen where he retired as a MWO/SSM. Arnold and his family had 14 transfers with the military before settling in Regina to work for SaskTel. He loved the family yearly vacations. He liked to curl with the fellows at the Highland and golf with the ROFs at the Murray. He played a mean game of pool and was an aggressive bridge player. He’ll miss all of his friends at Super Sun in AZ. He was a loving husband, father and granddad. Special thanks to Dr. P. Duffy and the caring staff of MSU at the Pasqua Hospital. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Holy Family R.C. Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina, SK with Fr. Carlos Jimenez as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Arnold may be made to a charity of choice. Family and friends are invited to sign the online obituary and tributes page at www.paragonfuneralservices.com
