Obituary of Anne Beck

Anne Marguerite Beck May 4, 1934 - January 23, 2017 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne on Monday, January 23, 2017. Anne was predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Adams; and siblings, Carl, Sue, Irene, Art, Alf, Ernie and Dorothy. She is lovingly remembered by Hans, her husband of 52 years; their children, Patty (Doug) and Paul; grandchildren, Annaliese, Benjamin, Andrew and Fiona; sisters, Helen and Lorraine; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Anne was born and raised in Melville, Saskatchewan. She worked as a secretary first in Melville and later in Regina. In 1962 she met Hans, the love of her life, and married him in May 1964. Anne was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Family was a priority for her. She stayed at home to look after her children and care for her aging mother. We fondly remember family holidays, including camping adventures and trips to the Oregon coast. Anne was a kind and compassionate person, accepting of everyone she met, and always ready to lend a hand. She had a strong spirit and maintained a positive outlook on life throughout her battle with cancer in her mid-30s and various health issues in the ensuing years. She trusted in God and was an active member in the church before her health declined. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at New Hope Lutheran Church, 370 McIntosh St. N, Regina, SK. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or New Hope Lutheran Church.
