Anthony James (Tony) Gross
December 25 1956 - January 25 2017
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Tony Gross at the age of 60 years. Tony passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. Tony is predeceased by his grandparents Anthony & Amelia Gross, George & Mary Mertick; parents Peter & Genevieve Gross; brother Rodney; nephew Casey; nieces Alycia & Cassandra. Tony is survived by his children Joseph Gross; Collette (Tom) Lewis; Amanda (Jason) Russell; (with former wife Veronica McDonnell); children Jill Donison-Gross, & step-daughter Melissa Donison; (with former wife Joanne Donison, who cared for Tony through his illness and passing). Grandchildren: Charmian Cowles, David & Emily Lewis; Chloe MacDonald, Jordan & Jesse Russell. Brothers Patrick Gross (Joanne Woolsey); Mike Milloy (Donna); sister Susan (Richard) Kaczynski, (Rich was also his close friend from early childhood); and brother Brian Gross. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Tony owned and operated KeyWays Locksmithing/Carters Gun&Tool in Regina until 1999 when he relocated to Saskatoon and operated KeyWays there until his cancer diagnosis in fall of 2016, when he returned to Regina. Tony will be greatly missed and always loved! Special thanks to the awesome caregivers at Grace Hospice, the love and care he received during the last week of his life was amazing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Hospice in Tony's name. Tony will be cremated with burial arrangements at a later date. There will be no service; however a memorial will be held Saturday, January 28th (TODAY) 4PM at 2075 Fleury St. Regina, for those who wish to say hi to family and share memories in celebration of Tony's life.
