Obituary of Larry Kevin Blair

Larry Kevin Blair May 22, 1954 – March 2, 2017 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Larry Kevin Blair at the age of 62 years, in Regina, Saskatchewan. He passed in the cancer ward at the Regina Pasqua Hospital surrounded by his closest loved ones and family. Larry is predeceased by his father Gordon Blair. Leaves to mourn his mother Edna Blair who he loved deeply and she was always by his side caring for him during his illness; his brother Dr. Danny Blair, his best friend who he was extremely proud of; his sister Kenda Blair (Trevor and Dale Blair); his wife and best friend Jan Blair who he loved so much of 36 years; his son, Cory Blair (Jessica) four grandchildren Peyton, Ryder, Nashia and Graycee; daughter Jennelle Heisz (Nick) and granddaughter Ivy; son Michael Blair and grandson Mannix. Larry was so proud of all his children’s accomplishments through their years of schooling, University and most encouraging their sports where he attended and travelled with them. His six grandchildren were so inspiring and made his life so happy especially during the last four years of being so ill. Larry’s career was with Advanced Industrial Technologies (formally Bearing and Transmission) where he spent 44 years and was very loyal and devoted to the company, his customers and staff. Larry was very passionate and caring who always thought and gave to others before himself. Larry was a member of the Balgonie Elks whom contributed to his community of people in need. He made sure everyone got a chance at getting support and funds. Family would like to thank all the specialists, doctors and nurses who treated Larry throughout his illness in the many stays in the hospital. Larry fought the good fight, he finished the race and he kept the faith. Celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Holy Child Church and Hall, 2636 7th Ave. East, Regina, Saskatchewan.
