1933 - 2017
Stanley Cwyner, 83, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at his home in Regina, SK after a lengthy illness. Stanley was born on July 30, 1933 in Candiac, SK and grew up in Glenavon, SK. He was the oldest of 6 children. In 1955, he married Pearl Assman and in 1956 they moved to Regina to start their life together. Stanley made his career working at Weston’s Bakery for 38 and a half years as a baker. He was very active in the church as an elder and usher. He was always there to lend a helping hand whenever needed. He enjoyed fishing, camping, travelling, gardening, walking and playing his fiddle. Stanley was predeceased by his parents Michael and Annie Cwynar and step brother Andrew. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Pearl Cwynar of 61 years; daughter Denise Cwynar; son Greg Cwynar; grandson Kyle; sister Julie Aquin; brothers Joseph (Dee) Cwynar, Edward Cwynar, Tony (Arline) Cwynar, Allen (Donna) Cwynar; as well as sisters in law; brothers in law, nieces, nephews and good friends. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK with Pastor David Haberstock officiating. Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers most gratefully declined.
