Lawrence William Penno, 86, of Regina, SK passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 13, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Penno; his children, Kathy (Larry) Dolter, Michael (Rhonda) Penno and Christine (Grant) Alexander. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren – Andrea, Ryley, Heather, Sierra, Megan, Mark, Lindsay, Matthew and Daniel as well as 7 great grandchildren – Freedom, Serenity, Caitlyn, Ethan, Hayden, Rose and Ewan. Lawrence was a caring and giving man, always ready to help his family and others with whatever was asked of him. He was one of those men who could do anything from replace a motor to renovate a home and he loved helping his children with whatever task was needed. You could not ask for a better role model for love and values. Lawrence worked as an electrical designer with Ritenburg and Associates and left his mark on several major projects across Saskatchewan over the years. He was a member of Genealogy Societies and enjoyed finding many relatives through researching his own family tree. A private family Celebration of Lawrence’s Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Lawrence’s memory can be made to the Regina Humane Society or a charity of choice.
