It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Racette of Abernethy, SK on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband William J.G. Racette; daughter Debbie; son Harry; foster daughter Lisa Kanapace; son in law Lyle Vogel; parents Henry and Josephine Poitras; brothers Eddie, Clifford, Irvine and George Poitras; sisters Eva Notchaele and Gladys Racette. Anne is survived by her daughters Bev Halford and Charlotte (Bill) Yaremchuk; sons Charles (Joyce) Racette, Dale (Geri) Racette, Terry (Rhonda) Racette; foster son Joe Bruce; twenty seven grandchildren, forty great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; sisters Alice Fayant, Elizabeth (Allan) Mayer, Olive Reisdorf; brothers Marshall (Eleanor) Poitras, Larry (Carol) Poitras; sisters in law Anne Poitras and Hazel Poitras as well as many nieces and nephews. A family service will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart R.C. Church Cemetery, Lebret, SK. Cremation has taken place.
