NEDELCOV, Barbara Elizabeth

Barbara was a loving wife of 46 years to Ed, mother to Debra (Jeff Glen) and Michael (Stacey Stoppler), grandmother to Joshua, Daycie, Jonathan, and Daylan Glen, sister to Stewart (Gail), Stephen (Elena), Philip (Frances), Joan and Sharon Taylor, and sister-in-law to Jim Nedelcov. She was born in Montreal, lived and married in Australia, but chose to live her life in Regina where she passed away with family by her side on March 26, 2018. Barbara was a quiet, soft-spoken, strong-willed, generous, loving, and compassionate person who had a strong faith in her religion and an acceptance of others less fortunate than herself. She loved music, bird watching, growing flowers, photography, her dogs, travelling, Tai Chi, new challenges and old friends. She especially enjoyed her time with her family and playing games with, and reading to, her awesome grandchildren. The final steps of Barbara's journey in life were difficult but the love, respect, and admiration for her courage and dignity will always remain with us. We are forever grateful to have been part of her life and to have been rewarded with her wonderful laughter, her bright & beautiful smile, and her delightful sense of humour. "Her name is not carved in stone, it is etched upon our hearts." Special thanks to all of the medical professionals who assisted Barbara in her final struggles and to her fellow Tai Chi members who brought her love & affection. A private internment service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, any donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
