It was quite by accident I found this obituary. I knew Gordon over 40 years ago. What a lovely man he was. My condolences for the loss. ... Suzanna

Gord was one of my favourite cousins and I always enjoyed visiting with him and talking about our extended family (aunts, uncles and other cousins)
I created a Video Eulogy of Gord and it is available for viewing on Youtube with the following link

Rest in Peace Gord, always remembered by your cousin Bob

Gord was a a great guy with a big heart. He was close to everyone in our family, particularly during happy days with the Wally Reed and the Gold Tones. Playing to packed crowds at beach resorts and most popular Saskatchewan venues they made it so easy to get into the full swing of things. Those were the good ol days especially when they visited our family cottage at Mission Lake after playing at Katepwa Beach. So much laughter and fun times. I remember really struggling to set bricks to our front walkway, when he got off his bike and showed me how cut my time in half by cutting and laying the bricks in a slightly different way. It was just the way he was helping out when he thought he could make a difference.
