I remember George from our SIFC days. He was kind and full of humour. Sandy and him and their little ones were often around to share some moments. Prayers for the family.

Please accept my deepest condolences in your family’s loss of such a good man. I’ve known George through the years through ceremonies and lodges and then lately as a fellow dialysis patient. He always had a smile and good word to say whenever our paths would cross. God bless you George may you travel well.

Me and George go back 20+years my cousin (what I call him now) was always happy to see me and on more than a few encounters I have bought his art, one print and many ear rings which I will cherish always. Once when we ran into one another he said "I'm going to get you stoned" And me knowing that George did not partake in such activities looked at him with wonder. Then he reached in his pocket and gave me a spotted rock which I still have and display proudly. I will miss my friend and buddy, so sorry for your loss, prays to you and yours.

Oh my friend
I remember our team of G & G, helping RAMP out with the youth camp and elder gatherings. Many good laughs and sharing of wisdom.
My heart is heavy in thinking about your not being there. I will miss not running into you at Powwows.
You always spoke with love and kindness about your family. May they be well.

My fondest memory of George is his phenomenal singing voice. He sang with his brother's in their drum group, and I could always hear his vocals harmonizing over the other's. When we hung out together, George was always the life of the party. He was a very kind soul and he was quite the character.
Sending condolences to my Brother from another mother Rick and his family on their tremendous loss.

George was a gentle soul and every time I seen him he would make sure and say Hi. My very first meeting with George was back in the "70s" we met in Portland, Oregon as I lived there and he was traveling. We got to talking and found out we were both from SK. We spent some time visiting and he moved on with his travels. Next time we met again was here in Regina. Fond memories of a traveller like me when we were young. Will miss you but the spirit world needed you more than us.

So sorry to hear of George’s passing.
We spent many hours in Art’s lodge and driving back and forth to Piapot. We never passed someone walking but that we gave them a ride - George always asked that we do that.
I am so happy to have met George and his family.
Prayers that his journey be peaceful.
