Obituary of Haye Veldhuis

VELDHUIS, Haye “Harry”

Harry passed away on June 27, 2018 at the age of 80 while in long term care at the Wascana Rehabilitation Hospital. Harry was born in Den Haag, the Netherlands and was in the Military Police there until he emigrated to Canada in 1958. After several business ventures in Ottawa, Harry was successful in landing a job with the Federal Government which he held until being transferred to Regina. It was here that Harry met Donna, the girl of his dreams and they were married on October 16, 1984. Harry was predeceased by his parents, Jan and Maria Veldhuis; sister Alice; brothers Johannas and Sid and stepson Steve Robinson. Harry is survived by his loving wife Donna; stepson Scott Robinson (Shirley) and stepdaughter in law Catherine Robinson. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 2241 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK.
