MAYNES, Melissa Lynn

1987 - 2018

It is with broken hearts we announce Melissa’s sudden passing at the young age of 31. She will be deeply missed by her children Maqenzi, Creeden and Maliyah. They were the sparkle in her eyes.

Dad Mike Maynes (Margaret); mother and step-dad Brenda and Roy Racette; brother Mitchell (Jolene) and daughters; step-brother William and step-sister Kirby (Leroy) and their daughter; grandparents John Gould Sr., Brad and Jean Magnusson and Eileen Racette. Aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandmother Vickie Gould; grandfather Joe Maynes and Uncle Nick.

Melissa’s children were her world. She always told them “she loved them to the moon and back” and she did. She had the biggest heart. Always willing to help anyone and always seen the good in everybody. She believed everyone deserved a second chance. Her home was filled with lots of love and laughter. She enjoyed watching her children whether it be sports, playing or helping her do crafts, gardening or planning a family get together.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at The Eagle’s Club, 1600 Halifax St., Regina, SK.
