Suddenly on September 1, 2018, Leanne passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Delmar; mother Joan; sisters Tanya, Priscilla, baby brother Harry; nieces and nephews Kassaundra, Nicole, Perry; grandparents Babe and Edna Desjarlais, Sid and Elizabeth Papequash and many more.

Leanne is survived by her daughter Shay-Lynn; father Arnold; sisters Hertha (Darcy), Roberta (Warren Sr.), Barbara, Delores (Henry); brothers Ken (Tina), Kevin (Michelle), Ivan, Leon; special aunts Karen and Anita; special nephews Kenny (Ramona), Robert (Savannah), Travis (Cheyenne), Warren Jr. (Shay), Tyrell (Trish), Dallas, Daryl; special nieces Sandra Mae, Tamara (Charlie), Terry-Lyn (Lori); special granddaughters Eve, Zalaylah as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Traditional Wake will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Piapot First Nation Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK with Traditional Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018 with Elder Harry Francis officiating. Burial at Piapot Cemetery. Feast to follow.
