I was shocked and saddened to learn of Marg's passing. I worked with Marg for several years. Marg was a very caring person who possessed a great sense of humour - always smiling regardless. I especially enjoyed dropping in at Marg's office to view all the trinkets and special treasures she decorated her office with.
Deepest condolences to Marg's family.

I am so very sorry to hear about Margie's passing and want to extend my sincerest condolences to all her family and friends. I felt blessed to consider her as an honourary aunty. Her warmth and sense of humour stand out most in my memories of her. She had an ability to connect with people and was so easy to talk to. She was the kind of person you could confide in without worry of judgement, and there was always such wisdom in the advice she gave. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bill, Kathy, and Jim,
I was broken hearted when Bill told me Margie had died. I’m still broken hearted.
Margie was kind, determined, principled, and fierce in her love for family.
I am thankful for being part of that family. We all grew up together, and I remember, fondly, our time as children and adolescents.
As we grew older, and busy with our own families, our contact was less frequent, but the bond of family was still strong. In later years, Mom, Trish, and Joy, and later, Gracie were my main connection with Marg.
It’s telling that Gracie was such a big part of my connection with Margie. Through their Facebook friendship, Marg kept an eye on what Grace was up to, and no matter what Gracie posted, Margie was always there with thoughtful, supportive and kind advice.
It always gave me comfort to know Marg was also watching over Grace. She could often say things to Grace that a parent couldn't get away with.
I'm going to miss Margie. I know you will too. But I'm thankful for the time we had with her.
Love,
Jeff

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Marg. She was a lovely co-worker and I enjoyed the years that I spent with her. She had a great, dry wit, which I found so enjoyable. Her bravery, combatting MS and her lung issues, were inspirational to us. We will miss her.

I was so sorry to read of Marg's passing. It was my honour to know her and to work with her over a number of years as we shared mutual concern regarding opportunities for people with disabilities. I've seen her occasionally in recent years and was aware that her health was failing, but not her warm and caring character. I regret that I will be away on the day of remembrance for her, but please know that family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers as we remember a lady who was lovely in every way.

I am so sad at the loss of my cousin and dear friend Margie. I have so many fond memories of times spent together as kids: playing on Frontenac Drive, staying at the farm during construction of the house, ice skating on the dugout, the outhouse before the house was finished, picking rocks off the runway if we misbehaved... Mostly I remember hours and hours of giggling and laughing as we enjoyed carefree times together. I am so glad Joy and I had the opportunity to stay and visit with her this summer!
I am grateful for what Margie has meant to me, and I am also grateful for the positive connection she maintained with my kids. She was loving and kind, and I will miss being able to talk with her. I look forward to the time when I will see her in heaven and we can reminisce. Rest in peace, Maggie Lou!

Hey folks. Life is painful sometimes. Marg is a good soul. I wish she hadn’t shifted consciousness so soon. I told her a few months ago that John would meet her when she died. I was doing some praying and qigong when she was in a coma. After a few minutes it felt like John was there. I think she is OK. May you feel the presence of God around you and within you whenever you think of Marg. Cheers. Garth.
