1930 - 2018

Harvey passed away peacefully on November 13, 2018 at the age of 88. Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Frances; children Nancy, Joan (Lester) and Neil (Sheryl); grandchildren Rebecca, Adam, Matthew, Laura and Brigitte; great grandchildren Landon and Ava; sister Adalene as well as many other family members. Harvey Gerlach was born in the Beaver Flat District North of Waldeck, Saskatchewan in 1930. He grew up on a farm during the Great Depression and after completing high school, worked for the Saskatchewan government for his entire career, rising to the position of Director of Labour Standards. Throughout his life he was a man of faith and generosity to his family and friends in whose memories he lives on. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Ave. E., Regina, SK. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harvey’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
