Sad to read of Mary Lou's death. Enjoyed getting to know her through work in Saskatchewan Conference and cherish the witnessing the special bond of sisterhood that she and Anne lived. Thinking of you Art and all the family.

Dear Art, Cindy, Jill, Susan, Jeff and all of the family,
We are so sorry to hear of Mary Lou’s passing. We used to visit back and forth when our children were young and had such a grand time. Mary Lou was such a fun person. You will miss her but you have such wonderful memories. Our condolences to all of you.

In late summer of 1982, Mary Lou was the person to greet me at the top of the stairs in the old Saskatchewan Conference Office on Rae Street; come to think of it, she WAS the face of Saskatchewan Conference for so many of us who were new - or, in my case, just heading 'back East' after my first summer internship.. Always helpful, of course, but that smile is with me over 36 years later. My sympathy to all who loved her.

It was with tears in my eyes and a clench in my heart that I read of Mary Lou's end of life with us. She was such a solid presence in the Conference Office from the time of Barb Elliot until she left us. I will always remember her wholesome generous spirit in that old conference office above the paint shop.
Go well Mary Lou, there are so many of you who loved and appreciated you.

Art and all -- My heart goes out to you at this hard time. Mary Lou was a treasure in the lives of so many people, including me and my parents before me. Mum loved working with Mary Lou, and their continuing friendship meant so much to her, as did Mary Lou's friendship to me light my life. She will be missed. I am grateful we all had her presence in our lives. Sending you love and strength -- and may grace and peace be with you. ~~ Beth

So sorry to read about Mary’s passing in the Leader Post today. I was talking to her and Art in Walmart not that long ago, and we had a good visit. I enjoyed visiting with them either at good old Balfour a few years ago or more recently at the Cougar basketball games. We are out of town till Feb 8, so won’t be able to come to her service. Our sincere condolences to the whole family. Brenda and Glen Fekula

Art, Cindy, Jill, Susan, Jeff and extended family: I can't even explain how bad I feel for all of you during this tragic time in your lives! I know she was a large part of your strong family tree! It was my pleasure to spend time with her on Sunday afternoons playing board games! Rest in peace Mary-Lou! You and Art did a fine job of raising a beautiful family!

Dear Art,Cindy,Jill,Susan, Jeff & all your families,
We are so very sad to lose one of our best friends. Mary Lou & I have been friends since High School. I had the honour of being one of her bridesmaids
almost 61 years ago. Even though she moved West we still kept in touch & shared stories of our children. She was so very proud of all of you. She loved her grand daughters & great grandchildren.( she even carried on the tradition of making Christmas cookies with her girls & little ones this past Christmas.
She was a wonderful wife to Art & perfect mother to her children.
Speaking with her just a short time ago we talked of all the good times we shared. There were many!
Just wanted to let you know we are thinking of you during this very sad & difficult time.It was not easy to say goodbye to someone I loved & cared so much about. With love & deepest sympathy. Lorna & David xoxo
