Obituary of Norma Cyr

Norma passed peacefully at the Regina General Hospital on February 3 after a lengthy battle with diabetes related complications. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael (Lorien); daughter Jennifer (Brent); grandchildren Bret, Victoria, Julia, Andrew, Dalton, Evan and Mayson; brothers Gord, Rick, Laurie, Rod; sister Ruth and many nieces and nephews.  Norma leaves this world to be with God. Predeceased by her parents Norm & Marjorie; brother Dennis and nephews Danny and Grant. Norma always lived for today, tomorrow was never an option.  Norma’s grandchildren were her world, she would brag about them constantly, and always had wonderful things to say about them. A special thanks to all of the nurses “mom’s angels” and staff of Regina General Hospital, especially those from Unit 5E, who watched over Norma, always greeting her with a smile and taking care to ensure she was comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
