Obituary of Elisabeth Marie Switzer

With sadness the family of Bette announces her passing peacefully on March 7, 2019.

Born and raised in Melville SK, Bette became a teacher, and then met and married Lawrence Switzer. This took her from being a ‘city slicker’ to being a farm wife with no electricity or running water. She was a tremendous mother to three children as the family moved several times around the province. Bette and Lawrence spent 25 winters in Mesa where they enjoyed dancing, golfing and shuffling. She was actively involved with the Lioness Club and the Ladies Fellowship at Sunset United.

Bette will be fondly remembered as loving to ‘play in the dirt’ with her garden and an abundance of flowers. Bette will be fondly remembered by Lawrence, her loving husband of 64 years; Their son Trevor and his children Trevor Junior (Lisa), Scott (Sherry), Ryan (Chandler), and Taryn (Anthony); Their son Robert (Angela) and children Steven and Jasmin (Werner); Daughter Patti (Tim Kemp) and children Nathan, Connor, and Adam. Cherishing her memories are 7 great grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday March 16, 2019, at Sunset United Church, 177 Sunset Dr., Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, we invite family and friends to share loving memories at: www.paragonfuneralservices.com.
