Obituary of Donald David

Donald, our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, on Sunday, March 17, 2019 surrounded by his family at the age of 97. He is predeceased by his parents; sisters Audrey, Muriel, twin Kathleen (Ed); brothers Edward (Elsie) and Gerald in infancy. Donald is survived by his wife Margaret; daughters Susan (Ken), Donna (Doug), Evelyn and Helen; grandchildren Jeff, Jason, Christina (Darren), Sandra, Eric (Karla), Amanda, Barrie (Tara), Peggy (Garrett) and Bradley; great grandchildren Brett, Alyssa, Ethan, Logan, Chay and Millie; sister June and many nieces and nephews. Donald served his country in WWII. He loved to play crib and watch the Blue Jays, finally watching them live in Toronto in 2016, a dream come true. The family would like to thank the staff of Wascana Rehab Centre, unit 3-5 for their care and support. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Knox Metropolitan United Church, 2340 Victoria Ave., Regina, SK with Sharlene McGowan officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory may be made to Knox Metropolitan Flower Fund.
