Since hearing about Frank’s passing, you have all been in my thoughts and prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences having known Frank, his kind and gentle ways, making those of us who spent time with him comfortable through his sense of humour and his interest in others, always speaking freely about their concerns and his own, always in the hope that more could be done to make the world a better place, and especially right here in Saskatchewan.
Though I hadn’t seen him in many years, I was in touch with him briefly now and then on facebook, and our family has fond memories of Frank (together with Russell) doing some work for us here at our home, and we enjoyed their company.
Having met nine of the eleven members of your immediate family, and some of your extended family, and having known some of you for many years and considered you good and close friends I have enjoyed spending time with over the years, I was so sorry to hear about Frank, especially knowing how much he is loved by all of you and how he will be deeply missed by you all.
Over the years, many of you shared touching stories about your family, your childhood and your growing up years, and I was blessed by the things you shared, mainly about how precious every member of a family is, whether near or far, no matter what the circumstances or situation. And I would be remiss if I did not mention your Mom and Grandmother, sweet and loving Mrs. Anne Isbell, who I still think about with great appreciation and joy because she was a wonderful example to me personally of how to live this life cheerfully (come what may), thus serving as a wonderful example, to me, of what life can be like when you are always moving forward despite everything than can happen in this life, when you are generous, kind, and loving and put the needs of others way ahead of your own.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
(The words of Jesus,
John 13:34)
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
(The words of Jesus,
John 14:1-6)
Love,
Cathy Buburuz,
on behalf of everyone in my immediate family

I just returned home from being away for a few days and was so sad to hear this news about Frank. My deepest condolences to all of Frank's family. Although I haven't seen Frank for quite a few years, I have such good memories of our many discussions about anything and everything. He will be missed.

Thinking of the Isbell family at this time. While it has been along time since seeing Frankie, he will be remembered as a quiet, witty man. Great memories of Dave, Russell and Frank "back in the day".
