Obituary of Henry George Bird SR.

It is with great sadness that the family announces Henry George Bird’s passing on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his wife Mary; sons Theodore Paul, and Sydney; and daughter Hanya. Henry will be lovingly remembered by his children Mary, Charlie (Donna), Olive (Leon), Marlene (Gaza), Mathilda, Yvonne (Charles), George (Rhonda), Jane (Darryl), David (Crystal), Donna (Glen), Stephen (Jamie); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Gordon Gymnasium, Gordon’s First Nation, SK. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 Victoria Avenue E, Regina, SK. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations in Henry’s memory may be made to Children’s Wish Foundation or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
