I first met Ellen when her Grandson Tyrell was in my grade 7 classroom. Every time I ran into her in FQ, she would greet me with a huge smile and warm hug and we would have a little chat, mostly about her grandchildren whom she loved so dearly. Without a doubt, Ellen will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to my former students Tyrell and Colten and the rest of Ellen's family. Love from Roberta Gehl

I have known Ellen most of my life. She has been a life-long friend along with her sister Karen. We were next door neighbors for many years in our teens. I remember the walks on the Fort San road to Fort Qu'Appelle and the talks we use to have. Her late parents became my parents as well. My late sister Laraine was a part of our ventures as well. Whenever we would see each other in Fort Qu'Appelle we always exchanged a hug. She always had words of kindness and blessings. I did not see Ellen since she moved to Regina which I regret now. The pearly gates will welcome another Angel to the Heavens. Rest in Paradise for Eternity My Dear Sister. Your legacy of kindness and love will remain in so many people's hearts forever. Condolences to all that new this beautiful Lady.
