Obituary of Ellen Mary Keewatin

On Monday April 6, 2020 Ellen Mary Keewatin (Dubois) born April 3, 1953 passed away suddenly into the spirit world. She was predeceased by her daughter Kimberley; granddaughter Onisihkwe; and parents Peter & Marge Dubois. Ellen is survived by her daughter Camela Keewatin (Jaret); son Jason Wasteste; grandsons Tyrell, A.J., Gordon, Peter Jr., Colten; great-grandchildren Kiona, Moses, Reign, Elias; sister Karen (Mike) McIntyre; brothers Warren Dubois and Robert Byers; along with many special friends and relatives for which there are too many to mention. Ellen touched many hearts in her lifetime and always had a hug or kind words for everyone she met along her travels. She was one of a kind lady and will be missed tremendously.

A Traditional Wake will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Ellen’s Home, 1929 Wallace St., Regina, SK (Please no pregnant women or young children).

OUT OF RESPECT FOR ELLEN AND HER FAMILY, THEY ASK THOSE ATTENDING THE WAKE ADHERE TO THE COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS. THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE GATHERING WILL BE CONTROLED IN ELLEN’S HOME AND PLEASE AVOID GATHERING AS A GROUP OUTSIDE. OBSERVE FROM YOUR VEHICLE AND MAKE YOUR WAY IN AS PEOPLE FILTER OUT OF THE HOUSE AND BACK TO THEIR VEHICLES. YOUR CONSIDERATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020 with the Burial at 1:00 pm at Fort Qu’Appelle Cemetery, SK.
