I remember Pearl working hard to clean houses/trailers of people who had left. She wanted the next family to have a clean, pleasant place to move into at Caronport. It was an encouragement to me to see someone take their job/responsibilities so seriously. Lots of people never knew. She was serving the Lord doing this job. Notice by Me, Marion Jean Grant (MJ) and I am sure God. Great example of service.
I'll always cherish the memories of her greeting me as Mama Pearl. She made sure I was taken care of while I was at Bethany.
Missing you mama Pearl, I know that you are in a far better place! No more pain, no more suffering, a place full of happiness.
Pearl was like a mother to me for years. Her love and warmth and genuine care were a healing gift to me. I was always delighted to see her and she gave the best hugs. The best! She was a sacred gift. I’m so grateful for her even after all these years. Sending all the love to her family. Especially Gary and Devon and Chris—both of whom I count as good friends. This is such a heartbreaking loss.
When I first met pearl in waldheim I instantly liked her she was an amazing woman always there to help me learn Mennonite cooking she would always share recipes with me .. I will miss her sending love hugs and prayers for the family
