I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Dana’s passing. We went to school together and saw each other many years later in Glenavon. We were both happy to see each other. May she rest in eternal peace. Sincere condolences to the family.

Isaiah 57 Verses 1 & 2
The righteous perish , and no one ponders it in his heart ; devout men are taken away , and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from Evil .
Those who walk uprightly enter into peace ; they find rest as they lie in death.

I first met Dana in the late 70’s when she was Bernie’s girlfriend. She was always so friendly and welcoming.
A lot of good times were had when several of us decided to buy a house together on Broder St in the mid 80’s. We shared living expenses and built up the equity to help in our future endeavours. It was amazing that we all got along so well.
I will miss Dana and her good natured back and forth banter.

Dana was a very dear friend. I met Dana at City Hall Clerks Office. We became friends the first day.
My most cherished memories are our cinnamon bun dates at Smitty’s, the great sleepovers while she lived on Montague Street and our weekend tanning from May long weekend until September long.
Dana was my maid of honour at my wedding. I had the privilege to stand with her and Bernard at their wedding. Dana and I shared a friendship like no other. We did not see each other much over the past years, but when we did get together, it was like no time had passed. Dana will forever hold a large piece of my heart!
May you be at peace my dear friend. My sincerest condolences to Bernard and the family at this sad time. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Bernard, Joshua, Jared, Kyla and family, Rob and I send our deepest sympathies to you all. We will miss Dana very much. Dana was my first work friend when I moved to Regina in 1982. She welcomed me with open arms on my first day at City Hall and we remained friends all these years. I will forever remember our coffee/cinnamon dates, our heartfelt conversations and her warm and welcoming smile.
We wish you strength and comfort during this time. Sending you all healing prayers and comforting hugs.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Dana's passing. In the 1980s, we worked together in the City Manager's Office at Regina City Hall. We had a great group of hard-working colleagues in that office, but we also had a lot of fun. Dana and I became good friends and confidantes. I will always treasure our friendship and the memories. She may be gone, but never forgotten.

We were so sorry to learn of Dana's passing. Dana's family were a part of the close-knit Baring community where we attended functions many years ago. We renewed aquaintances when Dana and family attended Broadway United Church when her children were small and Neil and I were teaching Sunday School. Lastly, we had a couple of good visits when our sons attended the same college at the U of S.
Dana was such a wonderful person - so warm, friendly and kind.
The Duchin and Vipond families are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dana will always be in my heart and having her as my dear friend will be treasured forever. We first met at City Hall back in 1979. We quickly became kindred spirits and enjoyed being there for each other. She was my lovely bridesmaid. Over the years we’ve continued to stay in contact and it never mattered how much time had passed, it was always like it was just yesterday. My heart goes out to Bernard, your children and grandchildren, to Robert and Sandra and their families.
Dana will be so very missed.
With love
Beverley and Mark

We send our heartfelt prayers and deepest sympathies to Bernard, Joshua, Kyla and Jared. We met Dana several years ago in our university days and were privileged to have been present at her and Bernard's wedding. Her voice, mannerisms, and gentle nature are as clear in our minds now as if she were standing before us. Although our paths were not destined to cross often, we mourn her loss.

I have so many wonderful memories of Dana, it’s hard to pick just a few. She was the most loving person and I was fortunate enough to have a close relationship with her since a very young age. She was a secondary parent in a lot of ways. Whether we were bonding over our love of cleaning, devouring her delicious Sunday pancakes or Boston Pizza mini pizzas tradition, her warmth, laughter and attentiveness was infectious. One of my fondest memories was July 2014. We had planned a mother daughter trip to Saskatoon to attend a Blake Shelton concert. It’s a memory and experience I’ll always hold dear. Rest in peace Dana; you’ll be greatly missed - Emily
